The villains have won.
In a twist of fate, those with the power to protect have been reduced to meager numbers, hiding underground to escape the clutches of Dark Matter, the villain that brought the world to its knees. The people live in fear as crime runs rampant, children with potential snatched from their homes the moment their abilities surface, families murdered, stores ransacked, and chaos abound.
But all hope isn't lost. A small organization of heroes have slowly begun to form with the intention of doing two things: rescuing those children, and taking down Dark Matter and her subordinates, once and for all.

The Playground
A facility created by Dark Matter and maintained by her closest associates. Children with potentially powerful abilities are taken from their homes and placed here for conditioning and training. The Playground is several stories tall and is inside a repurposed prison to hold all the children. The Children range from ages four to nineteen.
